| Logitech | 2002/08/26 Logitech is in the process of
re-formatting their entire website. For the first time in three years I've been able to
actually navigate to a support page - with no javascript or cookies enabled. Way to go
Logitech! This is the way it was, for about three years. Their website used javascript (gives you no navigation without it) and cookies (gives you no navigation unless you accept same). Needless to say, getting customer support was not possible unless you played their game. All ok now though. |

Web Shareware Authors and Programs There are many small companies, and individuals, who are trying to make a living
selling terrific, focused, do the job well programs. They are writing programs which are
done right the first time! Why don't you hear about them? They won't "say yes when
they really mean no". They have a very limited budget. There are some multi-million dollar companies who say they sell Shareware. You can find their products in stores. Is that Shareware? No, don't think so. Commercial - yes. Big company - yes. Bloat-ware - most of the time, yes. If the software you want is under $50 dollars and if it does exactly what you were looking for, then that's a deal. If the cost is only $20-$30 dollars, then what are you waiting for? Anyway, this page will reflect excellent, focused, low-cost programs from authors who work hard filling a need. Some of this software gives you computer protection or options you wouldn't have at all otherwise. Some of these authors have started affiliate programs to try and get the word out - I sincerely hope they are successful. I have tried out and use all of the software on this page and believe it is the best bang for the buck to be found anywhere! More to come! |
Common Sense Internet Security BOCLEAN <--more info - then click on BOClean on the next menu. The first one is called BOCLEAN. It scans your computer for trojans and the dat file is updated about once a week. It is not found in shareware archives as it is not trialware or 30 day ware. The program ships to you ready to go. It can be set up to run in the background (default) or run once each time you re-boot your computer. It is the best on the net for doing the job, in my opinion.
